Partnering Direct Mail & Social Media

Denver Postal Customer Council Spring EventIf you’re in the Boulder/Denver metro area, I invite you to join me on April 17th for the Greater Denver Postal Customer Council’s Spring Event.

Entitled “Learn How to Grow Your Business,” the event features six presenters (I’m one of them) offering a series of seminars focusing on every thing from social media and branding to unforgettable creative direct mail design and the latest postal regulations.

Curious how direct mail and social media work together to boost your business? You’re not alone. I’ll be speaking on this topic where we’ll explore:

  • What is social media? It’s more than Facbook!
  • 3 simple ways to integrate social media into your next direct mail campaign.
  • And more…

Early bird registration is $45.00 and includes continental breakfast, sessions and lunch w/keynote speaker Dr. TC North.

The event will be held at the Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, CO.  Registration (and continental breakfast) starts at 7:30am. The first workshop begins at 8:30am MT.

  1. Nice post Debra. You are certainly on an important topic of marketing in today’s environment. Good luck with the event!

    • Thanks Barry! There is always so much to learn (and new developments all the time).
Wanna visit the Denver area to attend? Everyone is welcome.

  2. Sounds like a great event. Too bad I live in California. Good luck!

    • Hi Emily. It should be a great day, chock full of information. I’m going to suggest that, in the future, the Postal Customer Council consider live streaming the event so others can attend online. Have a great California day. Thanks. ~Debra

  3. Hi Debra!

I’m so bummed that I don’t live anywhere near Colorado! I know a lot of people think Facebook & Twitter when they hear the words, social media. But you’re right, it’s so much more than that. And taking a class really helps you understand. I took a class before I jumped in, just so I’d know what I was doing. 🙂

Glad we met via UBC. Cheers, darlin.

    • Hi Shelli,
You just gave me an idea to add to my upcoming presentation. I think I’m going to ask folks what they think of when they hear the term “social media” and see what responses I get. Thanks!

  4. Hey Debra! This sounds like an incredible event!!! I definitely have a limited sense of what “social media” means. How very cool…I wish I could be there LIVE to soak in your wisdome 🙂 I’ll be in Denver in May…perhaps un petit cafe will be in order?

    • Bonjour Eyenie,
Thanks for stopping by. I’m looking forward to presenting at the PCC’s event. And, I am curious to how people will respond when I ask them “what does social media mean to you?”
I too wish you could attend in person. HOW EXCITING that you will be in Denver in May! I can’t wait to meet you in person. That will be so exciting.
      A toute a l’heure!
      ~Debra
