Feeling Discouraged? 3 Tips for Staying Motivated When Times Get Tough

The last couple of years have certainly been challenging for many. I hear it in conversations at most networking events I attend when people are asked “How’s it going?” First, there’s a shrug of the shoulders, a look of discouragement and the response is “I’m hanging in there.”

It’s not always easy to stay motivated when times get tough. I’ve written about how to cost-effectively market yourself in turbulent times, but wanted to share this video (below) with you from colleague Adam Urbanksi – The Marketing Mentor who offers 3 simple steps to staying motivated.

It’s short & sweet (less than 3 minutes) and offers practical, easy-to-follow tips to help you.

One of my favorites is Adam’s collection of cards he receives. He keeps it in a book called “My Raving Fans.” It’s similar to what I call my “Wall of Fame” – a collection of cards & notes I’ve received from happy clients. If you don’t have a collection, why not start one today? If you do, what do you call it? Share it in the comments section below. I’d love to hear from you.
